Are you or your child entering 6th to 8th grade this school year? Then maybe VOLLEYBALL is for YOU!! Lehighton does not have a middle school volleyball program...so we run our own!!! The LAVB program sponsors and organizes the Tomahawks Volleyball Club in the winter/spring seasons. Practices are Sunday evenings so that it will not interfere with other sports you may participate in such as basketball, soccer, track, etc.
Remember, just because you play another sport at a young age doesn't mean you can't train for volleyball with LAVB/Tomahawks and switch to volleyball in high school. MANY of our current varsity members played field hockey, soccer, etc. in middle school because there WASN'T volleyball but switched sports when they had the option.
Keep you/your child's options open until you have all sports offered when you reach 9th grade!
